Do you provide discounts or special offers on your gifts?
From time to time I do run various promotional offers. I usually let my customers know through my news updates on email or via my social media pages (on Instagram you will find me @thepinkpheasant). By signing up to the email list you will be one of the first to hear any news and offers. You can sign up by visiting the mailing list menu option.
I have placed an order for a bespoke lampshade. How long will I need to wait for it to be dispatched?
All of my lampshades are made to order (by me) and therefore I generally will get these made within 10 days, however, if I have to order your fabrics in from one of my fabric suppliers, and also when in busy periods, it can be up to three weeks.
I have ordered items from your jewellery and homeware collections. How quickly will you send these out to me?
For all in stock items I aim to get these packed and dispatched within 2 -3 days of receiving your order. If for any reason there is likely to be a slight delay I will contact you to let you know this.
Do you post items outside of the UK?
I can usually send some items to non UK destinations but I recommend that you contact me first to see if this is possible and for you to obtain an estimate on shipping charges and for you to check on any additional charges/fees/taxes that you may receive too as a result of receiving goods from the UK. The Pink Pheasant Shipping & Returns section also provides further details for you. Some items, such as my lighting, I can’t ship overseas currently.
I would like to have a bespoke lampshade made. Are you able to do this?
I am always happy to discuss bespoke requests, so do get in touch, via the contact form in the contact section to let me know what you would like and I will contact you to discuss.
For any lampshade styles that I already have listed in the interior accessories section, please allow around 10 days/2 weeks for your item to be made and dispatched to you.
Some of the items I would like to order are showing as out of stock. How will I know when they become available again?
If an item you are wanting is out of stock you can sign up to the waitlist for that item (which you can do on that product page by adding in your email address in the box provided) and then as soon as the item restocks you will automatically get an email to confirm it is available again.
Are you able to send gift items direct to my gift recipient rather than via me?
Yes, if you would like me to send your item direct to your recipient, simply add their name and address in the shipping address section at checkout. If it is a gift and you would like me to add a gift tag then just pop your gift message in the gift message section at checkout and then I will happily include that for you. All parcels are wrapped in tissue before they are sent out.
I live locally, am I able to collect my order from you to avoid paying postage costs?
Yes, if you wish to arrange a convenient time to collect your order please just select the ‘pick up’ option at checkout (rather than the shipping option), that way you won’t be charged the shipping for your order and then you can let me know (email louisa@thepinkpheasant.co.uk) when you would like to arrange to collect your order from me (I am located near Salisbury).
Do you offer gift vouchers or gift cards that I can send to someone so they can choose their gift from you?
Yes, I offer e-cards, which are really simple to order and easy to use. You will find them both on the Home Page and in the Gifts Section of the website. These are digital gift cards, that allow you to email the unique code to the recipient or we can send it direct if you include their email address on your order. You can personalise the e card with your own message, such as Happy Birthday etc. The recipient will then have that amount for them to use against their purchases on The Pink Pheasant website. Your e gift card balance can be used over more than one purchase.
I have bought an item and decided I would like to exchange it for another colour. Can I send it back for an exchange?
Returning items for an exchange or refund is detailed in the Shipping and Returns section on the website and this section will give you the information on what can be returned and how you can do this. Please note, bespoke items, such as my handmade lampshades, can not be returned for exchanges as they are a made to order items.
I have bought one of your lampshades and wondered how best I can clean it?
To keep your lampshade looking at its best, when cleaning it, remove the lampshade from your lamp and you can remove any dust using a clean lint roller or a soft clothes brush can also be suitable on some fabrics. Please also note that many fabrics, when exposed to consistent sunlight, can fade. Many fabrics will be susceptible to fading from the sun; darker fabrics are more likely to show this than lighter ones and is worth considering if you are placing your lampshade in an area in your room that is exposed to consistent sunlight.
Are your lamp bases PAT tested?
Yes, all of the lamp bases sold on this website are supplied to me from my lamp suppliers already fully tested. The testing carried out by the lamp base makers/suppliers is to comply with the UK BS standards.
Are your products only sold online at The Pink Pheasant?
My website is my primary shop, open 24/7, however, The Pink Pheasant also ‘pops up’ at events from time to time. Please look at my Events page to see where I will be next. If you are local to me you can, by prior arrangement, visit at an agreed time to look at in stock items too.
