Make A Fabulous Lined Lampshade Workshop Thursday 18th April 2024 (Middle Woodford, Salisbury SP4 6NR)
3 hour workshop on Thursday 18th April 2024 at Woodford Valley Village Hall, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP4 6NR, 1.30pm - 4.15/4.30pm.
Come along to one of The Pink Pheasant’s creative workshops where you will learn to make your own fabulous, lined, lampshade to take home and admire!
In this 3 hour workshop I will show and guide you to prepare your materials and then make a gorgeous 25cm diameter or a 30cm diameter, lined, straight sided drum, lampshade for you to use on either a lamp base or as a ceiling pendant.
Please note that a 30cm diameter is the maximum size available to make at this workshop event, but guidance will be given too on how you can use your lampshade making skills after the workshop to make your own different size lampshades.
On the Day:
You will need to bring two pieces of fabric* (each piece of material needs be at least 1m each in width and around 30cm in length, or longer - you will be able to cut it down to size at the workshop).
I will supply all of the other materials needed to make your lined lampshade, along with my ‘how to’ guide and a little goody bag for you to also take away.
There will also be tea/coffee and delicious cake for us all to enjoy too during the event!
* I will also have a limited selection of some of my fabric pieces available to purchase on the day of your workshop, if you wish to make your lampshade with some of this fabric rather than bring some fabric with you. These will be small pieces of fabric (big enough for your lampshade, but saving you from purchasing pieces larger than you need). My fabrics will be available to buy when you arrive. You could also recycle some existing fabric to make your lampshade that you may already have at home - such as some fabric from old curtains, blinds or left over fabric from a project.
If you would like to know more about my workshops, please do email me: louisa@thepinkpheasant.co.uk , but once you’ve confirmed your booking and payment I will also be back in touch before the workshop to reconfirm the details. I really look forward to you joining my workshop and can’t wait to see the fabulous lampshade you create.
