This workshop is for your own private small group booking at your home (within a 15 mile radius of Salisbury) and is for a minimum of 3 people (the maximum number attending will be dependant on the space you have available).
Please contact Lou (email below) first to discuss your workshop requirements, potential dates and timings and to confirm if the location is possible before making your booking and payment. (Please note table space (of approx 1 m space per person) is required for each attendee to use. Large dining table, kitchen tables or island space is ideal.
If you and a small group of friends would like to have your own private workshop, hosted in your home, to create your own beautiful lined lampshades, then this session is just for you! Why not book in for a creative activity for a girls get together, birthday celebration, anniversary treat or other celebration.

About your private workshop:
At one of The Pink Pheasant’s creative workshops you will learn to make your own fabulous, lined, lampshade to take home and admire! You can make either a 20cm diameter, 25cm diameter or maximum 30cm diameter lampshade on this workshop. You will need to let me know sizes you and the other attendees in your party would like to create ahead of our workshop date so that I can pre cut some of the materials you will use at your workshop session.
In this creative workshop I will show and guide you to prepare your materials and then make your own gorgeous straight sided, lined, drum lampshade.
Please note that a 30cm diameter is the maximum size available to make at this workshop event, but guidance will be given too on how you can use your lampshade making skills after the workshop to make your own different size lampshades.
On the Day:
You will need to bring two pieces of fabric* (each piece of material needs be at least 1m each in width and around 30cm in length, or longer - you will be able to cut it down to size at the workshop).
I will supply all of the other materials needed to make your lined lampshade, along with my ‘how to’ guide.
Scissors and other tools needed will be supplied, however, if you have your own fabric scissors, do bring these along.
* I will also have a limited selection of some of my fabric pieces available to purchase on the day of your workshop (prices starting from £5 - £10 each for a strip of fabric large enough for your lampshade - you will need 2 pieces of fabric), if you wish to make your lampshade with some of this fabric rather than bring some fabric you can choose on the day and pay for the fabric on the day. These will only be small pieces of fabric (big enough for your lampshade, but saving you from purchasing pieces larger than you need). You could also recycle some existing fabric to make your lampshade that you may already have at home - such as some fabric from old curtains, blinds or left over fabric from a project.
